Harris Safety-Silv® 50N High Silver Brazing Alloy
2% Nickel Brazing Alloy – Excellent for Brazing Tungsten Carbides
Safety-Silv® 50N is a 50% high silver brazing filler metal engineered for brazing copper, brass, steel, nickel filler metals, and stainless steel. It is especially helpful where low brazing temperature must be maintained.
This filler metal exhibits improved corrosion resistance on stainless steel compared to other silver braze filler metal deposits. It is frequently used to braze tungsten carbide to steel and tool steel for cutting tips, drill bits, and saw blades. The 2% nickel addition improves wetting and strength.
